Thanks to the folks over at “Teen Wolf” for the shout outs this week on Twitter!

And with Molly’s brother in tow, our intrepid duo also went to see GREEN LANTERN this week.

And Molly had this to add:

Being that I was so beside myself with indifference after seeing this film, I left out some thoughts I would like to share now.  Going into GREEN LANTERN with very little knowledge of said hero, I came out of this film with much appreciation and interest in the idea behind it.  Hal Jordan is capable of harnessing the energy of his willpower, using it to create weapons to vanquish evil, how super badass is that!?  Now my biggest question is, why didn’t the folks behind this movie feel the same way?  They spent more time on the beginning sequence of Hal flying his plane,  pointlessly reminiscing about his father, and talking with a mannequin (Blake Lively) than they did on what could have been a spectacular climax.  Too much pointlessness, and not enough of The Green Lantern being a Green Lantern.  So, it wasn’t bad, but it’s not good either.  Blake Lively sucks, but I still enjoy me some Ryan Reynolds.

GREEN LANTERN is in theaters now.
