Warwick Davis Joins STAR WARS

In a post on Facebook, which we shared on our own page, the official Star Wars social media page posted a video featuring Warwick Davis at home, waiting by the telephone for that one special phone call he’d been promised by Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy back at Star Wars Celebration Europe II in Essen, Germany last year.

In the video, Davis “gets the call” from director J.J. Abrams, and the rollup at the end of the video says, “Warwick Davis will return to that galaxy far, far away for Episode VII in 2015.”

Davis has played more than one character in Star Wars, but his most notable role was the Ewok Wicket. And now that we’ve seen concept art that shows [highlight for spoilers: a grave robber with Darth Vader’s helmet], along with long-standing rumors of a return to Endor, it seems likely that Davis will once again be saying “yub yub”.
