VIXEN Comes to Life on ARROW
When the CW first announced an animated Vixen to be set in the same story universe as Arrow and The Flash, fans speculated not about if she’d appear in the live-action shows, but when.
Producer Marc Guggenheim has confirmed to TV Insider that Megalyn Echikunwoke will cross over from providing the voice for Mari McCabe, and will appear as the character in Arrow‘s 15th episode of the current season. “We’re not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we’re immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe.”
The first season of Vixen is available on the CW Seed online network, where it lives with other online-only content. Vixen has already interacted with Oliver, Barry, Felicity, and Cisco in her show, so it’s likely to be referenced when she makes the jump. That assumes the shows are following the same time frame for their respective stories.
If the schedule holds, Vixen’s appearance looks to be happening February 24th.
