The Geekly with a Twist: February 8th-14th
It’s Frrriiiiiiidaaaaaayyyyy! Okay, maybe I’m a little excited about that. It’s been a weird week. Hopefully you all aren’t buried under snow (I know here at HQ it’s been thunderstorming, so, there’s always that). So, just in case you’re on a limited time supply…onward with the history!
February 8th, 1914: The man best known as the “uncredited co-creator” of Batman, Bill Finger is born in New York City.
February 9th, 1981: Avengers breakout star (and villain, no less) Tom Hiddleston is born in London.
February 10th, 1997: Chloë Grace Moretz, the young actress who can already credit roles such as Hit Girl and Carolyn Stoddard (Dark Shadows), is born in Atlanta, Georgia.

February 12th, 1970: Judd Winnick, the comics writer and artist, is born in New York City.
February 12th, 1973: The woman who voices characters from Bubble (The Powerpuff Girls) to Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony) and even Harley Quinn, Tara Strong is born in Toronto.

To Twist your week, this delightfully strong libation comes courtesy of VCon: The God of Mischief .
- 1/2 oz Blavod black vodka
- 1/2 oz blue curacao
- 1/2 oz apple sours
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz mead
- 1/2 oz cinnamon schnapps
- Crushed ice (optional)
Take a prepared martini glass and add the Blavod. If you’d like to use the ice, add it now. Add the rest of the ingredients and either stir or enjoy as-is!
