The Geekly with a Twist: December 28th-January 3rd

Hallo, hallo, all! It’s finally that time again for your favorite look back of the week! Obviously, we’re all still in one piece after the whole end-of-the-world business (darn it, though, I was hoping to test out some new skills on zombies!) so it’s time to keep looking back to look forward… or something like that. Anyways, onward with the history!

Since this post will overlap the new year, I figured something sparkly was in order. How about a Lavender Town Syndrome? (It sounds really yummy. I’m already planning it for MY NYE celebrations.) From The Drunken Moogle.

  • 2 oz Hpnotiq
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • 1/4 oz Grenadine
  • 6 oz Sprite

Mix all ingredients in a tall glass with ice. The suggested garnish is ghost stories.

So, to Garnish your Geekly, how about a trip over to a new blog I found searching for some geeky stuff for the new year? The Geekly Hostess is super awesome for many reasons (the first of which is the d20 in her banner) and I’ve found my massive time waster for the day. Yay!

Lastly, my new year’s resolution? Finish my super secret project I started this year. You’ll all hopefully know what I’m talking about soon. What’s your resolution?

Until next year, geek on!
