Super Sons Added to SUPERMAN & LOIS

The CW has added the sons of Superman to the new Superman & Lois, which recently received a full series order at The CW.

Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin will join the cast as the sons of Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch). Elsass will play Jonathan Kent, and Garfin will play his brother Jordan. Word is that the two are twins. The fact that Clark and Lois had two boys was revealed at the end of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” after the Arrowverse was reset with a new universe.

Logline: “The world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

Jonathan is described as “clean cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated.” Jordan is “wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games.”

Elsass comes to the series after playing Trip Richardson on Little Fires Everywhere opposite Reese Witherspoon. He started acting at age four, and he’s appeared in a number of short films and guest roles in television.

Garfin began acting in Nickelodeon productions at age three. He earned an Annie Award nomination for his voice work as Linus Van Pelt in The Peanuts Movie. He’s also appeared in Law & Order: SVU.

The new series will be produced by Todd Helbing, who’s also writing the script for the pilot. Helbing comes to the show after serving as showrunner for The Flash. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also be executive producers.
