From our own n00basaurus, Casey Shreve: “From what people were saying online after the trailer, it looks like the movie is a mix of CGI and live action. A common theme to reporting suggests that most attendees of the trailer’s panel originally thought it was a trailer for the next 300 movie. Since the trailer itself isn’t on the internet, we are just going to have to wait for any more information.
It is a little disappointing to see that they are going this route. For all we know it might turn out alright. However, with the breathtaking and amazing CGI experiences that Blizzard is known for in its game, it’s strange that they wouldn’t just use that to make a movie. It seems like turning their sights on live action would cheapen the production value, as it always seems to do. Time will tell, I guess.”
