SDCC: Eisner Award Winners

 

Every year at San Diego Comic-Con, the Oscars of the comics industry are awarded. These are the Eisner Awards, named after comic artist Wil Eisner, creator of The Spirit. Officially, they’re the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, established in 1988 after the demise of the Kirby Awards in 1987. These awards recognize creative achievement in the comics industry.
