#8) Harlan Ellison Suffers Stroke, Partial Paralysis: The fact that this news story is actually from October of 2014 just goes to show how many people have been affected by the sad news of the writer’s health. We continue to wish him good health in 2016.

#7) Galacticon 4 Implodes: The controversy surrounding this Battlestar Galactica con was one of the most talked about events of 2015. Jason Hunt gives the lowdown. What cons are you hoping to attend in 2016?

#5) 2015 Hugo Awards – Live Blog: Sad Puppies and diversity in science fiction were part of the biggest controversy in genre for the year. SciFi4Me liveblogged the Hugo Awards, keeping to the basics. A much more detailed analysis of the controversy was covered more in an episode of H2O.

#4) HEROES REBORN Cast Grows: NBC’s Heroes Reborn premiered in September, but back in May, we were still hearing all about it. Jordan Williams gave us the news of some additions to the cast. What did you think of the show?

#3) Create your very own Futurama Head-in-a-Jar! The invention of smart phones have given us lots of great resources, from GPS maps to accessing your bank account. This article from 2011 is still getting hits, which goes to show the power of fandom and fun. What are your favorite genre-related apps?

#2) TERMINATOR GENISYS Trailer Is Live: While posted in early December 2014, the news of the first trailer of the film released in June of 2015 generated lots of excitement. We saw the return of the story of Sarah Connor, but with a new timeline. What did you think of the movie?

#1) 5 Best TWILIGHT ZONE Episodes for the Holidays: With Syfy’s now annual tradition of the New Year’s Day Twilight Zone marathon, it’s only appropriate that this article from 2012 is still generating interest – and doubly appropriate that it’s a list of holiday-related episodes. What are your favorite episodes of The Twilight Zone?

Of course, there’s one page that generates more interest than any other (outside of our home page): our extensive list of genre conventions and events. Currently at 469 listings, there’s a calendar as well as an alphabetical listing. If you know of a genre convention going on that’s not listed, please let us know! And if you’re connected to a convention, we’d love to be added to your press list.
