Prepare for a Force of Nature — VOTE NOW!

As we slog through this continuing Polar Vortex (really, someone must make that movie!) it’s hard to imagine that tornadoes have already been spotted in 11 states. Yes, it’s tornado season, starting even before National Severe Weather Preparedness week (March 2-8, 2014). And in all seriousness, we want you all to be safe. During National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, NOAA and FEMA will highlight the importance of preparing for severe weather before it strikes. Being prepared for severe weather doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. A few simple steps, such as having a disaster supplies kit, could help save your life. During National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, Be a Force of Nature by knowing your risk, taking action and being an example where you live.

OK, now that we’ve given you some tools to stay safe and prepare for severe weather, and in the spirit of the Oscars and Hollywood’s self-obsession (don’t worry about them… Ellen did say they are all OK and safe from the rain) we thought we’d have a bit of fun.

So, here’s your chance to vote!

  • Sharknado – Casper Van Diem – Shannen Doughterty – F6: Twister…and it’s all because I love the cheese factor.

  • For me, Man of Steel was a disaster, but not because of the tornado.
Gotta go with Bruce Campbell for the actor.
And Helen Hunt. Because I have a soft spot for Helen Hunt.
