SciFi4MeRadio_REDHeather French and Timothy Harvey return to discuss “The Clean Room”, the latest episode of FOX’s COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey!

This week’s episode is something of a detective story, as Neil deGrasse Tyson takes us back in time to follow the journey of Clair Patterson, the man who discovered the age of the Earth, from graduate student to crusading scientist. We’ll travel from ancient Rome to the U.S. Senate and ask how the basest of metals could have such an impact on the world we live in and, to no one’s great surprise, we’ll follow a digression or two down paths that twist and turn and bring us back to one scientist and how his research saved the world.

COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, airs on 10 Fox networks including FOX and FX Sundays at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central, and Mondays on the National Geographic Channel.
