SciFi4MeRadio_REDWith Heather French away, Timothy Harvey is joined this week by Blaise Lapinski to discuss “The Lost Worlds of Planet Earth”, the latest episode of FOX’s COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey!

Remember that hallway host Neil deGrasse Tyson didn’t take us down when we visited the Hall of Extinctions in “Some of the Things That Molecules Do”?
We’ll find out what lies down that ominous hall as we look back at the worst extinction events in Earth’s history and what caused them, and how the Great Dying paved the way for life as we know it. We’ll also look at the discovery of Continental Drift, Plate Tectonics, the super-continent Pangaea, and learn about the woman whose work confirmed that discovery and gave us the first true map of the ocean floor. And we’ll digress. Like we do.

COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, airs on 10 Fox networks including FOX and FX Sundays at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central, and Mondays on the National Geographic Channel.
