MARVEL’S MOST WANTED To Get a Pilot Order
Variety reports that ABC is closing in on a deal for a pilot of Marvel’s Most Wanted, the on-then-off-then-on series focused on S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse and Lance Hunter.
Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood would lead the show, which would follow the adventures of Morse and Hunter spinning out of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., although the report says the show would not be a direct spinoff. Likely, it would focus on Mockingbird and Hunter on missions against Grant Ward’s new Hydra while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. moves forward on the Inhumans and Secret Warriors storylines.
S.H.I.E.L.D. producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski co-wrote the pilot and will serve as showrunners and exec producers together with Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb also serving as executive producer.
