IDW Publishing has announced that their games division will release a series of Orphan Black tabletop games, the first to arrive this summer.

The games will feature characters from the show, which returns to BBC America for its third season on April 18th. The season premiere will air across all AMC Network channels — AMC, IFC, SundanceTV, and WEtv in the United States as well as Bell Media channels Space, Bravo, CTV, and MTV in Canada.

“We’re extremely pleased about expanding our partnership with IDW” says John Young, Managing Director of Temple Street Productions. “We’re very excited about the new Orphan Black tabletop games which give our fans the opportunity to spend more time in the Orphan Black world they love and share that experience with friends.”

Hitting stores in July 2015, the first game — Orphan Black: The Card Game — will be a “contest of deduction and deception” for 3-6 players. Secretly assigned to one of three teams, players try to influence clones into joining their factions, while also keeping opponents guessing about who is aligned with whom. Success in the game depends on how well you can deceive your opponents and maintain secrecy.

IDW Games will release more details about the card game, as well as the upcoming tabletop game, on their web site.
