HBO Sets WESTWORLD Return for March 15

HBO has announced that the third season of Westworld will debut Sunday, March 15th.

Based on the film written by Michael Chricton, Westworld explores the development of consciousness in androids created as part of an elaborate amusement park environment. Developed for television by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the show stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quartermain, Lee Sizemore, and Rodrigo Santoro.

The first two seasons of Westworld have received a total of forty-two Emmy nominations, with three wins in the second season: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Newton), Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series.

 

Joining the cast for the third season are Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe, Scott Meschudi, Marshawn Lynch, John Gallagher Jr, Michael Ealy, and Tommy Flanagan.
