H2O #24: In Which We Discuss A Wrinkle on Pern… (ahem)
Apologies for the delay in getting this out this week — we tell the tale of the Gremlins in the Station — but we have finally managed to record (and save) an episode this week before the week was over. This time out, we try to stay a little lighter and talk about the recent announcement that Warner Brothers has optioned the film rights to two beloved classic genre series — The Dragonriders of Pern and A Wrinkle in Time stories — and how … cautiously optimistic we are (read that “Please don’t screw this up, WB”) about both.
Plus: contest time!
In the course of the conversation, we get a little trippy with the possibilities of a mashup between A Wrinkle in Time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Stephen King’s It. Which we sometimes do, when we do the thing with words… so how about a little contest? You do a mashup between the three — pictures, video, whatever — and post that to Twitter with the hashtag #ItsAMarvelWrinkle along with the SciFi4Me and SuperheroStuff Twitter handles — you need to follow us both to qualify — and have it there for us to find before September 23, which is when Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns.
