GOTHAM Has Found Bruce Wayne

Warner Brothers has announced the casting that many fans have been anticipating for some time now — young Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Fox series Gotham.

David Mazouz, who played the gifted Jake Bohm on Touch, will step into what might be one of the more scrutinized roles of his career, playing preteen Bruce Wayne, living a solitary life after the death of his parents, which will intersect with the life of Detective James Gordon as the new Gotham cop investigates the murder.

Also announced today: newcomer Camren Bicondova has been cast as teenage orphan Selina Kyle. She’s described as a “street thief and skilled pickpocket, dangerous when cornered”.

This announcement follows news from yesterday, that Drew Powell will play recurring character Butch Gilzean, the second-in-command for crime boss Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith). He’ll also be the lieutenant in charge of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor).
