Episode 16

Hail to the King, baby. We’ve covered Ash Vs Evil Dead here on SciFi4Me before – I recapped the first episode (and we hope to continue recapping the series this upcoming season), we wrote about Bruce Campbell’s quest for an Emmy, and even wrote about how finally, FINALLY Ted Raimi will be joining the cast (along with Lee Majors — pictured below with Campbell).

But for those who are unaware, Ash Vs. Evil Dead is based on the first two Evil Dead movies (rights issues has the series from referencing Army of Darkness). It’s a continuation, rather than a reboot, and follows Ash (Campbell) as he battles deadites alongside Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo).

The show is getting ready for it’s second season, and was one of the many panels at the 2016 PaleyFest Fall TV Previews event from September 8 – 15 held in the Los Angeles Paley Center for Media.

In this episode of G33K Out, I had the chance to attend the red carpet for the screening of the first episode of season two.The photos I took from the red carpet are below. I interviewed guest stars Lee Majors, Ted Raimi, and Michelle Hurd, and then series regulars Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago, and Bruce Campbell. (Running time: 27 minutes, 25 seconds.)
