Fox Finds Its Frankenstein Monster

Deadline is reporting that True Blood alumnus Rob Kazinsky has landed the role of Frankenstein’s Monster in the new version coming from Rand Ravich and Howard Gordon.

Frankenstein will be inspired by the original Mary Shelley novel, but won’t be an adaptation of same. Instead, the story will focus on Ray Pritchard, a 75-year-old US Marine and retired police officer, morally corrupt, who’s murdered and reanimated in the younger, more athletic body (Kazinsky).

Last month, Adhir Kalyan was cast as Internet billionaire Otto Goodwin, one of the creators of the “monster”.

Besides True Blood, other projects for Kazinsky include EastEnders, Pacific Rim, and the upcoming Hot Pursuit with Reese Witherspoon and Sofía Vergara, as well as the film adaptation of the video game Warcraft.

  • Wow not being weird or anything but he looks perfect to act the part in a Frankenstein movie, I would agree with the good choice.
