Documentary THE MARS GENERATION Coming to Netflix May 5

On March 30, Netflix dropped the trailer for The Mars Generation.

The documentary, produced by Netflix and Time, follows the potential journey to Mars through a group of young trainees at the U.S. Space & Rocket Centers. Filled with interviews with such people as Bill Nye, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Elon Musk, and others, the film shows the modern space race from both the private and the public sectors.

The Netflix site states, “The Mars Generation provides insight into the historical, philosophical, and technological implications of becoming a multi-planetary species and reveals that Mars is closer than you think.”
