Conroy & Hamill Return for JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION
Cartoon Network has officially announced the new animated Justice League Action, with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill set to return as Batman and the Joker.
Long-rumored, the new show still has no official release date, but is instead said to be “coming soon” in the press release:
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.
The production team includes Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) as executive producer, with Butch Lukic (Justice League, Batman Beyond), Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series), and Jim Krieg (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) producing.
The show will feature 11-minute story segments, and will have a rotating roster of characters. James Woods, who voiced Owlman in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, will play Lex Luthor, while Batman: The Brave and the Bold star Diedrich Bader will voice Booster Gold.
This will mark Conroy’s 25th year voicing the Dark Knight, and earlier this month, Conroy shared this image with the Twitterverse:

The assumption was that the two were reprising their roles for the animated adaptation of The Killing Joke. And while that remains a possibility, it looks now like this new series is where the two are going to be found for the foreseeable future.
