Comikaze 2014: Stan Lee Is Looking for His Biggest Fan

On Saturday of the 2014 Comikaze convention, Stan Lee announced a contest in partnership with LiveJournal to find his biggest fan.

Lee joined the blogging platform on October 22, with his first post announcing a contest where the winner (and a guest) will win an all-expense paid trip to Hollywood to meet and talk with the man himself. “Over the years, I’ve met thousands of fans and comic lovers at conventions worldwide, and I’m always amazed at how passionate they truly are,” he said in the announcement. “Partnering with LiveJournal has given us the platform we needed to enable fans worldwide to share their passions and prove why they should win a chance to sit face to face with me. So, come on troops: show us what you’ve got!”

The contest requires you to have a LiveJournal account, and post an entry explaining why you feel you are Stan’s biggest fan. “I want to hear from each and every one of you about why you think you are my biggest fan,” the blog post states. “Maybe you have read all my comics, maybe you have collected all of the Stan Lee figurines, or maybe you even have my signature tattooed on your body. Whatever it may be, I want to hear it.” You then post the URL of your entry on Stan’s blog about the contest. The contest runs until December 31, 2014, and the winner (and five runner ups, who will receive a limited edition Stan Lee gift package) will be announced in early 2015.
