Variety reports that AMC is developing a new series set in the universe of Orphan Black. Temple Street Productions, which made the original series starring Tatiana Maslany, will be producing this new series. It’s reported to be in the same universe and not a remake or spinoff.

Maslany won an Emmy for her portrayal of several clones in the show, which ran for five seasons on BBC America. Orphan Black was one of the network’s first original scripted series, and it won the Peabody Award. Created by John Fawcett and Graeme Manson, the show was critically acclaimed, as was Maslany’s performance. She was nominated for a Golden Globe and three Emmys, finally winning for best actress in 2016.

Word is that Temple Street is in search of a writer, and there’s no indication whether Maslany will be involved in the new show.
