Episode 316 “Paradise Lost”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets a little more intense with Gideon Malick’s fate. Is he destined to take over the world? Is he merely a pawn of Darth Ward? In a series of flashbacks, we get plenty of portents and foreshadowing of a relationship that doesn’t end well. And while the writers pretty much telegraph what’s going to happen at the end of the episode, we do get a fairly satisfying episode — especially May’s fight scene with the Iron Chef!
