AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Delivers #FitzSimmons, Darth Ward, and a Coulson Double Standard — LEVEL ELEVENTY-SEVEN #86
Episode 318 “The Singularity”
This week, our intrepid team deals with the aftermath of Daisy’s betrayal and escape, and while Coulson dishes out orders that clearly demonstrate he’s compromised by his feelings for his young protege, May keeps a level head and rightly gets in his face about his priorities (a murder vest, Coulson?).
Meanwhile, Fitz and Simmons get to James Bond it in Budapest (!), where they hope to find a geneticist who’s been working on cyborg and genetic enhancements to humans, in the hopes that he’ll be able to help them develop a cure for the HiveWard Swarm. Of course, said doctor is also the target of Darth Ward and his young padawan, who have been busy recruiting others to the cause…
Plus: Doctor Strange has some strange (and highly political) motivations for Tilda Swinton’s casting, and could the removal of the Inhumans movie be an early sign that the Marvel Cinematic Universe might soon be inhabited by … mutants?
