Voiced by John Leeson, who originated the role, K-9 has gotten a make-over along with new special effects and new companions — cybernetics professor Gryffen (Robert Moloney), orphan rebel Starkey (Keegan Joyce), hacker Jorjie Turner (Philippa Coultard), Gryffen’s assistant Darius (Daniel Weber) — and is dealing with aliens on Earth, along with The Department.
Syfy will run a 26-episode marathon Christmas day, beginning at 10am Eastern and running through 11pm E. Which means you’ll have to tape a few while you’re watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special on BBC America at 9p Eastern.
