2024 Scribe Award Winners Announced

During Comic-Con International in San Diego over the last weekend of July, the winners of the 2024 Scribe Awards were announced by the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers.

The Scribes are given in recognition of excellence in the field of writing licensed or adapted works connected to an established franchise (think Star Wars, Stargate, or Murder, She Wrote). Tie-in novels are original stories written within the official universes of the franchises, with the permission and supervision of the creators, studios, or other rights-holders of the original characters. The IAMTW has a goal of help people understand the craft of writing tie-in fiction and how it should be just as recognized and respected as writing fiction set within original story universes.
