THE TIM HARVEY SHOW #7: The Problem With THE PUNISHER

This week on the The Tim Harvey Show, we – shocker of shockers – don’t talk about the latest harassment scandals… well, not very much, anyway. No, this week Mr. Harvey ponders The Punisher, Netflix’s latest Marvel series, and asks whether Frank Castle can really be the “hero” of a story?

Created in the ’70’s as an anti-hero, Marvel’s The Punisher has seen several comic series – written by some of best writers in the comics business – and three movie adaptations, with the violent vigilante taking a rather shocking road to his own TV series. And by shocking we don’t just mean the more violent of the comic series, oh no. We mean FrankenCastle.

This guy.

This was a thing that happened.

Plus more thoughts on Star Trek: Discovery and a spoiler-lite review of Amazon Prime’s new series LORE!
