SciFi4Chicks: Once We Start Talking, You Get Part Two

It’s time for part TWO of the Loungecast on women as leads in genre. The ladies (AJ, Maia, Kammie, Alex, Marie, and Heather) tackle the Bechdel Test… Is it really being used to the most benefit? Does it help or hinder women in genre? Or is it a Miss Representation! (‘You can’t be what you can’t see!”)

Are women meant for a tragic backstory of doom? Does talking about a man make you less of a woman? Is it all about love? (“Enough with that!”) And do we need to be leads, or is it about good characters no matter the size of the role or who you act against?

The ladies finish up with some of their favorite females before our call to action for all out there… join the Chicks in demanding great roles!
