SciFi4MeRadio_REDHeather French and Timothy Harvey return to discuss the second episode of the new COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey, “Some of the Things That Molecules Do” in, oddly enough, the second episode of their podcast series Notes From The Cosmic Shore. Funny how that works.

This episode of the series revisits themes of the second episode of the original Carl Sagan series “One Voice in the Cosmic Fugue”, and Heather and Timothy discuss the way that host Neil deGrasse Tyson deals with the occasionally thorny subject of evolution, the development of the eye, and visits to the Halls of Extinction and the seas of Titan. Also coffee, Heather’s new favorite word and just a hint, a hint I tell you, of digression.

COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, airs on 10 Fox networks including FOX and FX Sundays at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central, and Mondays on the National Geographic Channel .
