As SciFi4Me continues to grow, I’m always on the lookout for ways we can nudge that process along. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+ have all been useful resources for getting our name out in front of people. And we’re constantly sending e-mails back and forth to the publishers, studios, and publicity people to get on the coveted media lists so we don’t miss anything.
But we’ve missed a very important resource – you.
So, in an effort to recruit you into the world domination conspiracy, I’d like to invite you to sign up for our upcoming newsletter. It won’t be very long. It won’t be obnoxiously frequent. But it will give you something you can share while you check your in-box and clear it of those notes about stamina, performance, and discounts on insurance…
Now, you’re already subscribed in some way, whether it’s through WordPress, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. This newsletter will be a PDF document with links to articles you may have missed, videos we’ve uploaded, and general stuff we’ve found that might be interesting. Might even include user-submitted artwork. This is just one more way we can spread the word, and it’s as simple as hitting “forward” on your e-mail dashboard. We’d really like you to do that once in a while.
You’re invited to sign up. Just send a note to email@example.com with the subject SUBSCRIBE and you’re all set. Your information will remain private. No e-mail addresses will be shared or sold. It’s just us folks swapping stories around the campfire.
And it won’t take just fifteen minutes.
